Please see the Interlibrary Loan Guide for a complete guide to the policies and procedures related to ILL services. For library users who already have an ILL account, you may log in to Illiad.
The Law Librarians have created a collection of guides that provide information about library services and resources and serve as portals to authoritative and useful information for specific areas of legal research. You may also benefit from the guides created by the University Library when engaging in interdisciplinary research.
Online access to selected past law school final exams is available to current SJU law students only. Additional exams are added at the request of the faculty. A password is required to access the archive, which is available from the Circulation Desk (ext. 1580).
The library team strives to support faculty research as robustly as possible. We will be happy to work with a faculty member’s student Research Assistant for ongoing or large-scale research projects. We will also work directly with faculty members who have not hired a research assistant. Because each research request is unique, we ask that you make an appointment with a member of the library reference team to discuss how we can best serve you. Please contact the reference librarians at SJULawReference@gmail.com or by phone at 718-990-6651, or view our Faculty Research Support page for additional information.
The library team also strives to support student research as robustly as possible. Students may contact the reference librarians at SJULawReference@gmail.com or by phone at 718-990-6651, or view our Student Research Support page for additional information.
The law library team strives to partner with the law school faculty to support the delivery of truly excellent legal education. Reference librarians are available to work with faculty to identify useful and appropriate classroom resources. Librarians are also available to deliver in-class research instruction or to schedule appointments with students as directed by faculty. View our Instructional Support page for more information about the types of services the library can provide to support faculty instruction needs.
