Robert Noyce Scholarship Application

National Science Foundation Award No. 2050483

The Noyce Scholars program is funded by the National Science Foundation for the purpose of recruiting students pursuing science, computer science, engineering and mathematics degrees, and career changers who hold a B.S. in a STEM field, to teach science or mathematics in K–12 schools.

By encouraging talented STEM students and professionals to pursue teaching careers in K–12 schools, this program responds to the critical need for teachers of STEM subjects and will increase the number of teachers with comprehensive knowledge of STEM content.
The scholarship for five-year STEM/Education Pathway students is $36,000 for the fifth year, providing that all conditions are met. The stipend for graduate career changers in adolescent or childhood education is $36,000 for one year.

Please select the appropriate Noyce award for which you are applying below. Then, please upload each of the required documents to complete your application packet. Submit your complete application packet online in the space below.

Potential scholarship/stipend recipients will be asked to participate in an interview if selected as a St. John’s University Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship finalist.
