Global Entrepreneurship Development Program

The Global Entrepreneurship Development Program is a collection of short term and summer programs for undergraduate and graduate students, where they can develop their own entrepreneurial ventures or businesses, enhance them in collaboration with international partners and pitch them in International Pitch Competitions.

European innovation academy

The European Innovation Academy is one of the most prestigious International programs for young entrepreneurs.

The event is going to be offered in person in Porto (Portugal) in the summer of 2022 as an accelerator program providing a real-world, immersive experience in an international and multidisciplinary community.

The Collins College will offer scholarships (a $2000 value opportunity) to attend the program to selected students wanting to turn their entrepreneurial ideas into reality. Additional scholarships for housing may also be available.

The program will give you the opportunity to meet and learn from entrepreneurs and venture capitalists from companies of the caliber of Amazon, Google, and Uber, while boosting your CV with real-world startup projects.

All for ACADEMIC CREDITS that you can transfer for free towards several Entrepreneurship classes at the Collins College of Professional Studies.

Shankar Hackathon

Shenkar Jamweek is a unique event in the annual academic calendar – a 4-day hackathon for interdisciplinary problem-based learning that brings together students and lecturers from the design and engineering faculties. This hackathon takes place in collaboration with outside organizations from academia, industry and the not-for-profit sector, and places a heavy emphasis on social and technological innovation and entrepreneurship using the Design Thinking Double Diamond sprint methodology.

At this event, students will learn:

  • Developing interdisciplinary team-working capabilities
  • Learning design thinking methodologies (Human Centered Design)
  • Preparing for future market demands in the fields of design & engineering: flexibility, team-work, social responsibility, proactivity, dynamic surroundings, skillful research abilities, hybrid solutions, etc
  • Developing conceptual critical and ethical thinking

Program: February 14-17, 2022
