Sports Leadership and Branding Minor



The management minor in Sports Leadership and Branding is designed for student athletes and non-athlete undergraduate students who are motivated to develop and sharpen their managerial and promotional skills to manage their name, image, and likeness as permitted by statutes, regulations, standards, and policies. Tobin students would be able to select three of the Tobin courses to fulfill the Tobin minor requirement (9 credits). 13 credits for other students.



  • BUS 1101 Plan and Consumer Protection Law (1 credit)*
  • MGT 2331 Strategic Leadership in a Global Environment
  • MKT 3319 Digital Marketing

Select two courses (6 credits) from the following:

  • MKT 3314 Sports Marketing and Media
  • MGT 2360 Managing Sports Careers
  • SPM 1036 Social Media in Sport
  • MGT 4310 Entrepreneurship
